This month sees me catch up with long time friend Phil Alexander, some of you will recognise him from RAW Power back in the day whilst others will know him from his written work. We chat about well no surprise music, then changes in the scene and also how the world of metal journalism has altered over the years.Next up is Neil Brannagan Fuller makes a surprise appearance, it\'s a surprise for him as he doesn't know he\'s being interviewed until towards the end. He tells us all about the UK Thrashers Group he has formed for people who love thrash and the charity album Moshing The Roof On that he is putting together to help raise funds for the homeless. Finally friend of the show Nathan from Shrapnel joins me to talk all things new album, new line up, juggling being a mature student, husband and father as well as a renewed enthusiasm within the band. Added to this is an exclusive track, monthly metal news broken down the only way I know how, tangents, meme age limits, rants, reviews and the usual collection of unwanted, uncalled for opinions on what ever comes into my head.

The first Bollocast of 2020 is here and H chats with two old friends. First up is Ex Venom/Atomkraft and current Venom Inc frontman and bassist Tony Dolan. They get into some thrash history of years gone by, how Venom Inc ended up coming together and a couple of chance meetings with James Hetfield. Next up is friend of the show the master of the album cover and lyric video it\'s Andy Pilkington. This time around Andy and H get into the real gritty detail of how he does what he does and who does it for and why. Obviously with a few tangents thrown in there. Unfortunately there are also a number of obituaries for musicians we have lost in January alone. Throw in some ADHD chat, album recommendations, all the months metal news delivered in the way you have become accustomed to, in other words total bombardment and you have yourself a Bollocast.

Part One sees H catch up with fellow UK podcasters. Gully and Joe are old friends of the podcast and Acid Reign but have never been on the show before, a fact that Gully likes to mention and quite rightly. The boys have a right old chat about, music, podcasting and shit interviews. Next up it\'s Danny Different aka Daniel Sergant of Different Times Podcast fame. Interviewed without his co host Paul Podcast it gives him a chance to speak about his split from Paul\'s band OHHMS and how sensitively it was handled. Or not. Dan and H bond over a love of the new KoRn album and future rap battles are planned. We also have new music from UK Death Thrashers Elyrean. The Lounge Kittens have just announced that they will be hanging up their perfectly designed costumes for the last time next year and we here we discuss why amongst a load of other things. Finally it\'s off to the Camden Underworld for a long old discussion with Kyle and Vinnie from Exhorder. Things get competitive when talking chart positions, laughs and stories are shared and there is a special extra section. Included in all of this are the usual crackpot, poorly thought out over shares, frank admissions and apologies.
